Proverbs 15 and 16

Little gems from the Word this morning...

One to make me smile:

"A gray head is a crown of glory;
It is found in the way of righteousness."
Proverbs 16:31
(I must be REALLY righteous, and have been from a young age.)

And others to let me know He's listening:

"A joyful heart makes a cheerful face,
But when the heart is sad, the spirit is
broken."
Proverbs 15:13

"A gentle answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger."
Proverbs 15:1

"A soothing tongue is the tree of life,
But perversion in it crushes the spirit."
Proverbs 15:4

"He whose ear listens to the life-giving
reproof
Will dwell among the wise.
He who neglects discipline despises
himself,
But he who listens to reproof acquires
understanding.
The fear of the Lord is the instruction
for wisdom,
And before honor comes humility."
Proverbs 15:31-33

And the most precious:

"Pleasant words are a honeycomb,
Sweet to the soul and healing to the
bones."
Proverbs 16:24
